Correct breathing, calm intention, flexible movement Breathing is the first element of life. Who does not breathe? Who does not breathe? Who can even leave breathing? Yes, breathing is the minimum state of human life, without it, life would stop. But many people are not very clear, breathing also has a healthy and unhealthy difference, and even the healthy way of breathing is to a large extent affect a person’s health. 1, stretch the body to do a deep breath Mao Zedong in the war period for dozens of hours without sleep. There are also people who do not eat or drink for many days, but no one does not breathe for a few minutes. We do not have to force ourselves to make the action of breathing, the breathing function has been carried out autonomously. However, we can influence the way we breathe through our willpower. Breathing is not controlled by the brain, but we can choose what kind of air to breathe and how deep to breathe. Moreover, a person can make his or her functions work optimally through his or her willpower. The state of health of your respiratory organs is crucial and it directly affects the quality of your breathing. To breathe smoothly, you need to maintain a slightly upright posture and control the muscles of the chest to stretch and contract freely and flexibly. If you hunch your shoulders, your breathing is unlikely to be smooth. Almost any work will cause your shoulders to lean slightly forward, bending your spine and making your chest volume smaller. In the long run, doing deep and full breathing will be difficult for you. Sports such as bar, rings and sit-ups help correct habitual poor posture of the body at work, and although these are good exercises, most people can’t stick with them for long periods of time, so they don’t achieve fitness results. In fact, doing this kind of exercise is a burden for the average person, and it’s not easy to do. Taijiquan is an aerobic workout, and it is very important to regulate your breathing. The best way is to breathe deeply. Imagine in your mind that you have a straight body, and when you think about it, lift your chest and stretch your shoulders, so your body will naturally stretch. While straightening your body, breathe slowly and deeply until your entire lungs can’t hold any more air. Hold your breath and let the air stay in your abdominal cavity for a while, this is called Dantian, or Dantian breathing. Then stretch your shoulders back, lift your chest, make a kind of stretch, and then slowly exhale the gas from your body. Go outdoors, go to the fresh and pure air, take a deep breath; when you are working, take a deep breath to relax yourself; when you wake up at midnight, take a deep breath. Whenever and wherever you are, when you remember to relax yourself, sit up straight and take a deep breath. Don’t forget to do this when you go to and from work. You’ll soon discover the joy of doing so. Don’t think of deep breathing as a fitness exercise, and don’t rely on fitness exercises to strengthen your body. Hoping to get healthy through exercise means that you subconsciously see yourself as a patient or you think you might get sick. It is as important to breathe deeply and do things with your chest up as it is to wash your face before you go out. Or straighten your spine, lift your chest, and maintain a proper posture, which is actually as important as washing our hands and trimming our nails, because failure to do either will make you look sloppy. Do these things, do not think about any disease, do not want to hunch over, you have to lift your chest, as long as you do so, your breathing will naturally be smooth. 2, every breath you inhale contains life force It is important to breathe natural air. Our nature determines that our lungs are best suited to breathe the air in nature, because it contains the most appropriate amount of oxygen. If the air you breathe contains polluting gases, then your body will suffer. If you work or live in a place where the air quality is not as good as it should be, don’t force yourself to accept this state. If your house is not well ventilated, then change it. If you work in a place with poor air quality, then it is not a bad idea to change your job on the spot. The practice of Tai Chi Chuan requires an air environment that is very demanding. The worst air quality is that which is contaminated with chemical gases, followed by that which is filled with musty odors, asbestos fibers or industrial dust. Airplane cabins, churches, and theaters are crowded places where the oxygen content of the air is likely to be inadequate due to ventilation restrictions. The concentration of paid ions is 20,000 in alpine waterfalls, 10,000 in rural fields, 200 in urban industrial areas, and 20 in air-conditioned rooms. Some air may also be mixed with methane gas and the stench of decaying organisms. Mixed with a certain amount of pollen or other. We inhale the air into the blood circulation at the same time, the lungs will automatically expel some of the metabolite products of the human body. The active substances in the air are also a nutrient. Every breath you inhale contains life force. The scent of the land, lawn, trees, flowers and the aroma of meals are all nutritious to the human body. They are the epitome of living matter and they are easily absorbed by the body from the lungs into the blood circulation, and the body is able to use them directly without digesting these nutrients. We have been emphasizing that living matter is unified, so we are sharing in their life as well. Think about what I have said above when you think about your breathing problem. It’s true, and believing in that truth helps your breathing process go more smoothly. Be sure that the air you breathe does not contain toxic gases and that you are not breathing your own or someone else’s exhaust in a closed environment. This is what I have to say about breathing: keep your chest up, keep your breathing smooth, breathe pure air, and be in a grateful mood. This is easy to do, and, do not always think about the problem of breathing, if you have to think about it, then think you already know how to breathe properly. 3 . Breathe fresh air Today, most of us know that smoking and second-hand smoke are harmful to the human body, and we have heard of people suffering from lung diseases because they work in an environment with poor air conditions. Many of us also know that we should avoid breathing air that can cause discomfort in a short period of time. However, I have found that many people tend to ignore the pollution that does not cause immediate harm to our bodies, however, this pollution is much more damaging to the human body. You should not smoke when practicing Tai Chi, and you should avoid second-hand smoke. Has it been a long time since you’ve seen someone wearing a mask in the bathroom painting or spraying pesticides in the garden? The environment we live in is full of toxic chemicals, but we haven’t tested them for toxicity. The air circulation system in modern buildings can leak somewhere and cause a musty smell to fill the air throughout the building. These things are real, and what should you do when you encounter this situation? Now we are going to review what we have been reminded of. How can we work with the vital substances in our bodies? The easiest way is to focus your attention on breathing fresh, clean air. Organize your life so that you can breathe fresh air at all times. Whether you are at home, at work, driving on the road or outdoors, make sure that you are breathing fresh air and not that which is polluted or the exhaust fumes exhaled by others. If you must come into contact with toxic and harmful gases, wear a mask and take protective measures. If your body cannot avoid exposure to harmful substances, then your mind can help you to some extent. Don’t always think about how harmful car exhaust is to the human body, or how much second-hand smoke you inhale, think differently, fresh air is actually available at your fingertips, if the situation allows, then as soon as possible to a place where you can breathe freely. However, if you can’t leave your disgusting environment for a while, then think about the nutrients in the air that you can still enjoy in that environment. Air is a nutrient, you should think about how much you breathe in the process of health benefits. Don’t think of breathing as inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide. In reality, it is a group of substances that are inhaled. It is a group of compound substances. Don’t put your health on food and medicine, doctors, and new medical equipment. Taijiquan training is not a normal sport.
