Hashimoto’s nodule category 4 to be cut?

Hashimoto’s nodule generally refers to Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with thyroid nodules, and surgical removal is not always necessary in the presence of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with thyroid nodules category IV. According to the TI-RADS classification of thyroid nodules, thyroid nodule category IV is a suspected malignant nodule with a degree of malignancy of 2% to 90%. Since the nodules are suspected to be malignant, puncture biopsy of thyroid nodules can be considered. If the nodules are determined to be malignant after the biopsy, surgery is required; if the nodules are benign and there is no obvious abnormality in thyroid function, no treatment is required for the time being, and regular checkups can be performed. Patients with the four categories of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with thyroid nodules are advised to go to a regular hospital and ask a specialist to make a judgment.
