Zedoaria is a traditional Chinese medicine with the effect of clearing dampness and heat and facilitating urination. It is often used in treating edema and distension, dysuria (unruly urination), diarrhea, gonorrhea and leucorrhea (cloudy urine and leucorrhea), and phlegm (a pathological product formed as a result of impaired metabolism of water and fluid).
Zedoary is the dried tuber of Zedoary, family Zedoaryaceae, sweet, light, cold in nature, into the kidney and bladder meridian. It has the efficacy of diuresis and seepage of dampness (promoting the flow of water to dispel dampness), diarrhea, resolving turbidity and lowering fat (cleansing the body of impurities and reducing excess body fat).
Zedoary has the effect of treating dysuria, edema and fullness, diarrhea and urination, phlegm and dizziness, hot gonorrhea (burning and tingling pain when urinating, accompanied by urinary frequency and urgency, and abdominal discomfort), astringent pain, hyperlipidemia and other conditions.
Adverse effects of Zedoary are not clear. Contraindication for those who have kidney deficiency, essence slippery, without dampness and heat is prohibited. If you need to use zedoary, you need to use correctly under the guidance of a doctor, not blindly self-medication, so as not to cause adverse effects on the body.
