Pranoprofen is the brand name of the drug and usually refers to Pranoprofen Eye Drops. Pranoprofen Eye Drops drug works by inhibiting prostaglandin production and stabilizing lysosomes. Pranoprofen eye drops are used for the treatment of the external eye as well as for the treatment of severe symptoms in the front of the eye, such as blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, and scleritis, among others. The drops inhibit prostaglandin production and stabilize lysosomes, relieving discomfort caused by inflammatory eye diseases. Redness of the eyes, itching, tearing, and conjunctival edema may occur. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to the ingredients of this product. Treatment with this eye drop is intended for symptomatic treatment only, not for causative treatment.
