How to stop itching from seafood allergy

Seafood allergy is likely to be urticaria, mainly oral antihistamine drugs combined with topical drug treatment, and in severe cases, intravenous injection of appropriate drugs for treatment.
1. Topical and oral drug treatment: oral antihistamines for anti-allergy and anti-itch treatment, such as loratadine, cetirizine and so on. Topical medications such as glycerite lotion or benadryl cream can be used to relieve itching.
3. Intravenous drugs: If the patient’s seafood allergy symptoms are more serious, diarrhea, vomiting, dyspnea and laryngeal edema and other shock manifestations, we should immediately go to the hospital emergency room, need to give methylprednisolone injection, epinephrine and other drugs for rescue treatment. If necessary, tracheotomy should be performed.
Once seafood allergy occurs, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner, and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication. Avoid ingesting similar seafood on a daily basis.
