Heavy legs, weakness

Heavy legs and weakness are seen in two conditions: double lower limb edema and hypokalemia.1. If caused by double lower limb edema, it can be seen in heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease and abnormal thyroid function. If it is caused by heart disease, it can be accompanied by chest tightness, breathlessness and other symptoms, which need to be treated with cardiac strengthening and diuresis. If the disease is caused by kidney disease, diuresis should not be used because nephrotic syndrome can aggravate thrombosis if diuresis is used. 2. If the disease is caused by liver disease, viral serology and quantitative viral examination can be performed to clarify the diagnosis. If caused by hypokalemia, it can be seen in patients with poor diet or massive diarrhea. By actively improving electrolyte metabolism disorders, leg weakness can be reduced.
