Role of Ve

Ve usually refers to vitamin E. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and can protect tissues such as the nervous system, cardiovascular system, skeletal muscle and retina from oxidative damage to a certain extent, but the deeper mechanism of its action remains to be studied. The main function of vitamin E is to play an antioxidant role by interacting with free radicals, etc., oxidizing itself, scavenging free radicals in the body and blocking the chain reaction triggered by them, and preventing cell membranes, organelle membranes, etc., from being attacked by free radicals and oxidants. When vitamin E deficiency, may occur such as damage to capillary endothelial cells, which can increase the permeability of capillaries, producing edema, hemorrhage, such as intracranial hemorrhage in premature infants. People who are allergic to vitamin E are prohibited from taking vitamin E to avoid adverse effects. Before taking vitamin E, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor to avoid adverse consequences.
