On-site cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedure

On-site cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) operation process is to confirm whether the environment is safe or not, to see to determine the patient’s consciousness, to implement CPR and other steps.
1. Confirm whether the environment is safe or not: Confirm whether the surrounding environment is safe or not, if it is not safe, then you need to move to a safe location, if it is safe, then the nearest treatment.
2. Determine whether there is consciousness: shout and tap the shoulder to determine whether there is consciousness. Open the clothes, feel the pulse, see if there is breathing, pulse is normal, this process needs to be completed within 10 seconds, if there is no respiration and pulse, need to call the emergency telephone, and do CPR.
3. Perform CPR:
(1) Begin compressions in accordance with a 30:2 ratio of compressions to ventilation. Perform CPR by applying compressions in the lower third of the sternum, in the middle of the junction of the two nipples. Perform chest compressions at about 100-120 compressions per minute. The depth of the first each compression is 5-6 centimeters.
(2) Place one hand on the forehead, then pinch the nostrils with the thumb and pointer finger and push the chin up. Open the airway.
(3) Finally, start artificial respiration by blowing with the mouth closed, blowing twice each time, blowing for one second, and the chest can be seen to bulge with the blowing. And the time used for blowing should not be more than ten seconds.
Thirty chest compressions and two artificial respirations are one cycle. Continue CPR until breathing and heartbeat are restored, or until a professional first responder arrives to take over.
