Can Damp-Heat Injection Cause Perineal Soreness?

Damp-heat underflow can cause perineal soreness to some extent. Damp-heat underflow (Dampness and heat invading the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.) is the name of a Chinese medical condition. It refers to the flow of dampness and heat into the lower jiao (usually referring to the bladder and kidneys), and the bladder qi is out of order. Four Miaowan consists of Huangbai, Atractylodes macrocephala, hyssop, and Coix lacryma, which is more effective in clearing heat and relieving dampness. It is used for treating redness and swelling of the shins and feet, and musculoskeletal pain caused by dampness-heat underflow. Pregnant women should be cautious of using it, and people with cold constitution should be cautious of using it. Daily prevention can be achieved by eating a light diet, avoiding oily, cold and spicy foods, and avoiding late nights. If symptoms of dampness-heat injection occur, consult a doctor for treatment.
