Clinical symptoms of gastric cancer in late stage mainly include abnormal digestive function, vomiting blood and black stools, and decline in body condition. 1. Abnormal digestive function: Stomach cancer invades the stomach wall and causes obstruction, which will affect peristalsis and food emptying, resulting in abdominal distension, loss of appetite, difficulty in swallowing, vomiting and other symptoms. In the late stage of gastric cancer, there are mostly peritoneal metastasis, which will easily lead to intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain, stopping of gas and defecation, ascites and so on. 2. Vomiting blood and black stool: it is mainly due to the rupture of blood vessels caused by tumor invading blood vessels or bleeding caused by tumor surface ulceration, and continuous bleeding will lead to vomiting blood and black stool, which is life-threatening in serious cases. 3. Decline in physical condition: because of the physical consumption and repeated bleeding caused by the tumor, the physical condition will decline, resulting in a series of symptoms such as anemia, weakness, reduced mobility and so on, and in serious cases, it will lead to multi-organ failure. Symptoms such as localized lumps, enlarged multiple lymph nodes and multiple metastases may also appear in the late stage of gastric cancer. The advanced stage of stomach cancer is mainly treated with palliative treatment, which is mainly aimed at improving the quality of life, and it is suggested that patients should consult the doctor in time so as to avoid delaying the condition.
