Rehabilitation training for ankle injury includes muscle strength training, joint mobility training and proprioceptive training.
1. Plyometric training: in the early stage of injury, you can train the movement of the hip and knee peripheral muscles on the injured side, such as straight leg raising training in all planes and directions, prone post-extension, lateral abduction, supine forward flexion, adduction or abduction. In the middle and late stages, the peripheral muscles of the ankle can be trained, such as external rotation, internal rotation, dorsal extension and plantarflexor isometric exercises and progressive resistance exercises.
2. Joint mobility exercises: patients should perform passive and active joint mobility training of the ankle joint, including flexion, extension, inversion, eversion and rotation of the ankle joint. According to the degree of pain and swelling, gradually increase the ankle joint activity.
3. Proprioceptive training: standing on one foot on proprioceptive plates, vibration plates, foam rollers; dynamic stability exercises, such as throwing and catching exercises, under external interference or other modes.
It is recommended that patients with ankle injuries should consult the doctor in time, and carry out rehabilitation training in time after the condition is stabilized, so as to promote the recovery of limb function.
