What’s wrong with the joint pain in your arm?

Hand and arm joint pain is considered to be caused by trauma, inflammation, joint heterotopic ossification, cervical spondylosis and other reasons. 1. Trauma: improper hand and elbow joint activities or injuries, resulting in local muscle and ligament injuries, or even fractures or displacement, resulting in abnormal bone structure and position, can lead to the symptoms of hand and elbow joint pain. 2. Inflammation: excessive wear and tear on the joints due to lifting heavy objects, or excessive movement such as rotating forward, rotating backward, internal retraction, flexion and other actions, resulting in inflammation of the extensor tendon stop, i.e., medial epicondylitis of the humerus, causing aseptic inflammatory pain. 3. Joint heterotopic ossification: it is a distant complication of fracture, due to the internal hemorrhage during the last injury, causing hematoma in the muscle space, gradually forming abnormal ossification, restricting the joint activities and causing pain in the joints of hand and arm. 4. Cervical spondylosis: Neurogenic cervical spondylosis can compress the nerve roots and cause sensory abnormalities in the joints innervated by the corresponding cervical spinal cord segments, such as pain and numbness in the upper limbs. There are many other causes of pain in the joints of the hands and arms, such as the formation of gout stones in the elbow joint formed by high blood uric acid. It is recommended to actively seek medical treatment, according to the cause of the targeted treatment.
