Safflower Easy Tablet is a kind of Chinese patent medicine which is used to relieve the liver of depression (treating depression by unblocking the liver’s qi). It is composed of Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Atractylodes macrocephala and safflower, etc., which have the efficacy of relieving the liver, regulating the qi and invigorating the blood. It can be used clinically for the treatment of coercive and rib distension and pain, chest tightness, loss of appetite and menstrual irregularities caused by liver qi non-compliance. The adverse effects of this drug are not known. Patients with deficiency of liver and kidney (weak function of liver and kidney) should be cautious in using this drug, and pregnant women are forbidden to use this drug. There are no menstruating women in the contraindicated groups of this drug, so women can use this drug before they have their period, but they should be under the guidance of a doctor, and should not use the drug without authorization, in order to ensure the safety of the use of the drug.
