Cerebrolysin is extracted from animal brain tissue proteins and has the function of improving brain cell hypoxia and enhancing memory. 1. Cerebrolysin is mainly used for primary dementia, vascular dementia, mixed dementia, traumatic brain injury, post-craniotomy dysfunction, cerebral hypoplasia and memory loss. 2. Side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, chest tightness and itching of skin, i.e. it may have some effect on stomach function. Combination of this drug and compound danshen, vitamin B12, cytidine diphosphate can improve the efficacy; should not be combined with amino acid injection; children and hepatic insufficiency use this with caution; pregnant women, epilepsy, severe renal dysfunction and allergy is prohibited.
