Bleeding for a few days after hysteroscopic electrosurgery

In general, bleeding after hysteroscopic electrolysis lasts for about 7-10 days, depending on its specific cause. If the hysteroscopic electrosurgery is performed on a simple submucosal polyp, the bleeding should be relatively small and not last very long. In the case of hysteroscopic electrosurgical removal of submucosal fibroids, especially if the fibroids invade deeper into the myometrium, the amount of vaginal bleeding will increase slightly and its duration will be prolonged accordingly. If the submucosal fibroid is located in the cervical region or a large polyp in the cervical region, the duration of bleeding will also be prolonged accordingly.
