How long can you live with liver cancer lung metastases

How long a patient with liver cancer lung metastasis can live is closely related to the degree of tumor deterioration and the effect of treatment, which may range from several months to several years for general patients. The natural survival period of patients with lung metastasis of liver cancer, i.e. without taking any measures, may be only 3~6 months. In primary liver cancer of the liver, the most common site of metastasis is the lungs first, followed by the brain. When lung metastasis of liver cancer occurs, it means that the liver cancer is in a more advanced state. Advanced liver cancer cannot be operated, but corresponding treatment measures can be taken for the characteristics of liver cancer. For patients with advanced liver cancer, on the one hand, try to reduce the load of tumor on human body, such as using chemotherapy or targeted drugs. On the other hand, symptomatic supportive treatment is carried out, such as albumin infusion and nutrition for patients with low liver function. If the patient develops pain, pain relief measures can be taken. If water and electrolyte disorders occur, they need to be corrected in time. On the basis of symptomatic treatment, the patient’s life and survival can be effectively prolonged to a certain extent, which may exceed 1~2 years, and the general 5-year survival rate is not more than 5%.
