What to look for in a hot foot

It is incorrect to say that fever of the feet alerts to diseases, but rheumatoid arthritis, menopausal syndrome, athlete’s foot, diabetic neuropathy and other diseases can cause fever of the feet.
1. Rheumatoid arthritis: due to streptococcal infection, it will attack the synovial membrane, joints, muscles and other tissues, resulting in inflammation and foot fever, pain and other symptoms.
2. Menopause syndrome: during menopause, estrogen secretion decreases and ovarian function declines, causing endocrine dysfunction and hot feet.
3. Tinea pedis: Tinea pedis is caused by fungal infection, which leads to inflammation of the soft tissues inside the feet, resulting in fever, redness and swelling of the skin of the feet.
4. Diabetic neuropathy: prolonged diabetes will cause peripheral nerve lesions, resulting in autonomic dysfunction leading to abnormal sensation at the end of the limb, resulting in hot feet.
In short, if the feet appear persistent fever symptoms, should immediately go to the hospital general internal medicine department to identify the cause and timely treatment.
