Causes of pimples on cheeks

The causes of cheek acne include Rosacea, acne vulgaris, folliculitis and other pathologic factors.
1. Rosacea: It is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by persistent erythema and capillary dilatation, which may be related to heredity, abnormal neurovascular regulation and other reasons. It is mostly characterized by pinpoint to green bean-sized papules and pustules in the middle of the face, thus causing acne on the cheeks.
2. Acne: The sebaceous glands in the cheek area are more distributed, which may cause acne if there is Propionibacterium acnes infection, sebum secretion obstruction, and inflammation, thus leading to pimples on the cheeks.
3. Folliculitis: a bacterial infectious skin disease involving hair follicles and their surrounding tissues, which can manifest as papular pustules on the face, surrounded by a red halo, causing pimples on the neck.
If there is a case of pimples on the cheeks, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital in time, after clarifying the cause, under the guidance of the physician for treatment.
