How to treat the uncomfortable feeling of swelling in the anus

If the anus feels bloated and uncomfortable, we should first analyze the cause and then treat it differently according to the different causes. The first one, there may be a large amount of feces in the rectum, such as long-term constipation, slow rectal peristalsis, a large amount of feces stored under the rectum, the rectum absorbs water leading to dry stools, and even some form fecal stones, resulting in the anal feeling swollen. Treatment should be based on clean enemas, and if the fecal stones are hard, manual assistance with defecation may be required. Secondly, if there is an endorectal prolapse, such as loose rectal mucosa, the loose mucosa tends to block the anus when the abdominal pressure increases, causing the anus to feel swollen, PPH surgery, which is a selective supra-rectal mucosal circumferential stapling procedure, is usually required.
