What does it mean to have colored blood in the myometrium in the form of starbursts?

When a clinical color ultrasound is done and stellate echoes are found in the myometrium, it means that it is likely to be adenomyosis. Since adenomyosis is endogenous endometriosis, the endometrial tissue that is ectopic in the myometrium will then bleed periodically along with the endometrial tissue, so by ultrasound, it will be found that the myometrium will have a stellate flow of blood. Clinically, it is often accompanied by dysmenorrhea, increased menstrual flow, and also manifests as an enlarged uterus and infertility. For adenomyosis, clinically, it is recommended to be treated with Mannitol ring or with Daphne.
