Does fill light hurt your eyes?

If the patient only occasionally use fill-in lamps generally will not hurt the eyes, if long-term direct vision fill-in lamps may damage the patient’s eyes.
The eye is an organ used by human beings to feel external optical stimuli, and can receive external light stimuli, thus transmitting light impulses to the brain center and causing vision. The fill-in light is used to provide auxiliary light when shooting in the absence of light conditions. If the patient only uses the fill-in light occasionally, it will not normally cause any damage to the eyes.
However, if the patient looks directly at the fill light for a long period of time and is exposed to bright light for a long period of time, it may cause the patient’s eyes to lose visual acuity, photophobia, tearing and other uncomfortable symptoms. Patients need to control the time when using fill-in lamps, and should not directly irradiate the eyes.
It is recommended that patients who experience eye discomfort after using fill-in lamps consult a hospital in a timely manner to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
