What’s wrong with itchy lymph nodes?

Itchy lymph nodes are mostly caused by chronic lymphadenitis, tuberculous lymphadenitis and lymphoma. 1. Chronic lymphadenitis: it is a kind of chronic inflammation caused by repeated action of pathogenic bacteria on local lymph nodes, under normal circumstances, there will be reactive hyperplasia and enlargement of lymph nodes, affecting blood circulation and metabolism of lymph nodes, and at the same time, it will oppress the surrounding tissues and stimulate the local sensory nerve endings, resulting in itchy lymph node symptoms. 2. Tuberculous lymphadenitis: it will cause degeneration and caseous necrosis of lymph node tissues, affecting the normal circulation of lymphatic fluid, compressing the surrounding nerves, and causing symptoms of lymphatic itching. 3. Lymphoma: it is a kind of malignant tumor originated from lymphatic tissues, clinically it mainly manifests as painless lymph node enlargement, due to the proliferation of tissue cells in lymph nodes, the tension increases, which will make the sensitivity of local sensory nerves increase, and thus the symptom of lymphatic itching occurs. Clinically, acute lymphadenitis often manifests as lymph node pain, while lymph nodes invaded by lymphatic metastasis of malignant tumors often manifest as painless lymph node enlargement. If the patient’s lymph nodes are itchy, it is recommended to go to the hospital, can be carried out lymph node puncture pathology biopsy, clear diagnosis and then follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
