After the removal of the cervical polyp, the case is sent for examination. When the patient reads the pathology report card, he/she only needs to read the final report of the results and does not need to observe the removal of the material and the pictures provided on the report. If the patient’s final pathology report shows polypoid hyperplasia or inflammatory disease, it means that it is a benign disease, and the leukorrhea is normal, so there is no need for special treatment, and it is only necessary to do regular gynecological examinations to observe whether there is a recurrence of polyps. If the patient’s final pathology report shows that it is not polyp proliferation, but the occurrence of intraepithelial neoplasia or cancer, and need to do immunohistochemistry to further clarify the diagnosis, then further diagnosis and treatment is required. In this case, the patient needs to undergo further HPV examination, colposcopy or cervical conization to clarify the diagnosis.
