What to expect from the 9-valent vaccine

Nine-valent vaccine, generally referred to as the nine-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, patients need to pay attention to matters such as diet, avoiding cold, and hygiene of the injection site. 1. After the vaccination, you should pay attention to rest and keep warm to avoid catching a cold or getting chilled. 2. On the day of HPV vaccination, avoid eating spicy and stimulating food. If a severe allergic reaction occurs, you should seek medical attention. It is best to stay within half an hour of the vaccine injection and leave only if there is no allergic reaction. 3. Within 24 hours of the initial injection, pay attention to rest and avoid heavy physical labor. 4. Pay attention to the protection of the injection site, do not rub and massage the injection site and contact with water within 24 hours to avoid infection. There is no guarantee that you will not be infected with HPV after receiving the HPV vaccine, but it only reduces the chance of infection. It is recommended to do regular cervical cancer screening, usually once a year.
