Liver puncture pathology examination is mainly used for differential diagnosis of various liver diseases, such as identifying the nature of jaundice and the causes of jaundice, understanding the degree and activity of liver lesions, discovering early, quiescent or compensated cirrhosis, and especially in determining the severity of hepatic fibrosis, which is the gold standard examination.
