With the increasing number of special needs of patients, various types of aligners have emerged. In order to minimize or not affect the patient’s aesthetics, ceramic brackets, single crystal brackets, lingual braces, invisible braces, etc. emerged; self-ligating brackets emerged in order to align teeth quickly, with long intervals between patient visits and brief operation by the doctor. What kind of brackets are best? My answer is: there is no best, each has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on which aspect you prefer, according to the needs to choose the right one for you. As for the final treatment effect, the key is not in the aligner but in the orthodontic technique of the doctor, the aligner is just a tool. So to achieve a good treatment effect, choose a skilled doctor, as for the orthodontic appliance according to their own economic conditions and special needs, suitable for their own is the best.
