After lung surgery, generally after 6 hours, you can eat liquid, and gradually transition to general diet in about 2 days. It is advisable to eat high protein, high vitamin, easy to digest diet, such as lean meat, fish, eggs, soybean products, fruits, vegetables, etc., to ensure adequate nutrition supply and improve the body’s ability to tolerate surgery and tissue repair power.
