Can children drink plantain?

Children can take psyllium under the guidance of a doctor, but the infusion may completely precipitate out the active ingredients of the drug, so the efficacy is limited.
Psyllium is the dried whole grass of Plantago ovata or Plantago ovata, family Plantagoceae. It is sweet in flavor and cold in nature. Attributed to the liver, kidney, lung, small intestine meridian. It can clear heat, diuretic and diaphoretic (improve the problem of dribbling in urine, small amount of urine does not pass), dispel phlegm, cool blood and detoxify. It is used in treating heat drenching and astringent pain, edema and urination, summer-dampness and diarrhea, cough with phlegm-heat, vomiting blood, epistaxis (any external bleeding in certain parts of the body not caused by trauma), carbuncle, swelling and sores.
Children do not belong to the contraindications of plantain, if the above conditions exist, parents are advised to take their children to the doctor in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor’s diagnosis and use of medication.
