What’s the damage from neck trauma

The injuries that can be caused by neck pinching include limited neck movement, difficulty in breathing and swallowing, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and coma.
1. A pinched neck can lead to soft tissue injury of the neck, localized skin edema, strained neck muscles, and in severe cases, cervical vertebrae misalignment and limited neck movement.
2. Neck strangulation may cause thyroid cartilage, hyoid bone fracture, injury to the trachea, esophagus, fracture broken end will poke the oral mucosa, causing dyspnea, pain when swallowing food.
3. Neck blood vessels are pinched, can block the blood flow of blood vessels, stimulate the carotid sinus, causing a drop in blood pressure, the brain appears ischemia, hypoxia, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and even coma.
