Do you need to take off all your clothes for cupping?

Cupping requires full exposure of the area to be cupped and may be performed without removing all outer clothing. If the area to be treated is large, in order to facilitate the cupping process, the outer garment can be completely removed.
The cupping site is determined according to the relevant meridians and acupoints, generally the back of the shoulder, waist and abdomen, limbs, and the two coats of arms.
If you choose the supine position, you can perform cupping on the head, chest, abdomen, upper and lower limbs, anterior and lateral parts of the cupping.
When the prone position is selected, cupping can be performed on the neck, back, waist, buttocks, upper and lower limbs, posterior side of the cupping treatment.
When choosing the side-lying position, cupping can be performed on the head, face, shoulders, chest and ribs, hips and knees.
In the seated position, cupping can be performed on the neck, shoulders, bilateral upper and lower limbs.
Cupping treatment should be operated by a professional physician, do not operate without authorization, so as not to cause injury.
