Can water come out of your ears on its own?

Water coming out of the ear may be due to purulent otitis media, eczema of the external auditory canal, middle ear cancer, etc. Generally, it will not be cured by itself, and it needs to be treated with medication or surgery for the cause of the disease. 1. Purulent otitis media: Bacteria infect the local tissues of the middle ear through the external auditory canal, Eustachian tube or blood-borne channels, causing inflammatory reaction, oozing and bleeding leading to earache, tinnitus, fluid in the ear canal and other symptoms. 2. Eczema of external auditory canal: contact with egg, pollen and other allergens, frequent digging of ears leading to repeated damage of local mucous membrane, mental and psychological disorders and other factors lead to itching, molting, flaking, blisters and other changes in the external auditory canal, and the rupture of blisters will lead to the above symptoms. 3. Middle ear cancer: malignant tumor originating in middle ear invades local tissues and causes normal tissue destruction, bleeding and necrosis, so the above symptoms will appear. Water coming out of the ear may be related to many factors, so it is recommended to consult doctor for clear diagnosis and standardized treatment according to doctor’s instruction.
