What’s going on with the hardening of the stomach in late pregnancy?

If your stomach stays hard during late pregnancy, consider physiologic contractions, and recommend that pregnant women go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause.
Pregnant women may experience physiologic contractions in late pregnancy, usually can consciously abdominal hardness, mild pain, the intensity of physiologic contractions can generally be tolerated, will not be particularly painful.
Physiologic contractions are usually infrequent, and may occur once an hour, two or three times a day, or three or four times a day. However, if they are more frequent, e.g. more than 6 times an hour, or about 1 time every 10 minutes, you need to be alert to contractions that cause preterm labor.
Physiologic contractions generally do not become more frequent or progressively more severe. However, contractions that cause preterm labor will become more frequent and more severe.
Contractions usually last 20 to 30 seconds, after which the uterus relaxes. However, if the hardness of the abdomen is felt for a longer period of time, the uterus may be enlarged and the muscles or ligaments may be stretched. Some of them may be differentiated from fetal movements.
If you feel unwell, it is advisable to go to the hospital in time to avoid delays or adverse reactions.
