Is cholecystitis a hidden pain?

Cholecystitis may manifest as vague pain, which may be of a different nature depending on the severity of the patient’s condition. Cholecystitis is an inflammatory reaction of the gallbladder caused by gallbladder stones or other causes. There are acute and chronic cholecystitis, and the common symptom of the patient is pain in the right upper abdomen, which can be characterized by different nature of pain depending on the condition. Chronic or mild cholecystitis pain can be vague in nature, mostly after satiety or eating greasy food, the pain may involve the back of the right shoulder, the degree varies from person to person, and is seldom accompanied by other symptoms. Acute cholecystitis pain is usually more severe, colicky or cutting, mostly radiating to the right side of the lower back, when the condition worsens, the pain will be persistent, and usually accompanied by fever, chills, nausea, vomiting and other systemic symptoms.
