How to read a normal 4D ultrasound report card

4D ultrasound is a very important test during pregnancy. By doing 4D ultrasound, you can find out how your baby is developing and can screen for some malformations. For the report card of 4D ultrasound, the first thing to look at is whether the size of the baby and the gestational week are in line with each other, if the error between the size of the fetus and the actual gestational week is within two weeks, it is generally acceptable. It is also important to look at the development of the fetus to see if the upper lip line is continuous. It is important to see if the fetus’s organs, such as the heart, kidneys, and liver, are in the normal range of measurement. If these indicators are abnormal, it usually suggests a developmental abnormality. To look at the amniotic fluid, placenta and umbilical cord to see if there is too much or too little amniotic fluid, and to see if the position of the placenta and the distance between the cervical openings are within the normal range.
