Yin deficiency in women can be more manifested than in men, including heat in the palms of the hands or the feet, not wanting to wear more clothes, irritable heat in the heart, liking to eat cold drinks and cold food, as well as dry mouth, bitter mouth, dry throat, or poor sleep, night sweats, restless sweats, fever, i.e., low fever or not high body temperature but burning sensation in the skin, or bleeding, such as nasal epistaxis, epistaxis, and bleeding spots under the skin. Patients may also experience dizziness, palpitations, weakness, pale complexion, dry stools, yellow urine or yellow red with burning sensation, fine pulse, yellow tongue coating and dryness with little fluid, or burnt yellow with little fluid, etc. These are all symptoms of Yin deficiency in women.
