2. Metronidazole gel: anti-inflammatory, anti-trichomonas, amoeba, anaerobic infections, etc. It is mainly used for trichomonas vaginitis and swelling and pain caused by anaerobic infection of vaginitis.
3. Clotrimazole ointment: used for the treatment of vulvovaginal pseudomycosis caused by swelling and pain, itching.
4. Estrogen ointment: mainly used for the swelling and pain caused by atrophic vaginitis due to the decrease of estrogen level.
Vulvovaginal swelling and pain need to be under the guidance of a specialist targeted medication, but also due to vestibular adenitis or cysts and other causes of pain, to identify the causes, local medication, if necessary, with the oral medication in order to be more effective in the treatment.
