Early stage bowel cancer generally does not need to take targeted drugs after surgery. Early-stage bowel cancer cancer cells are limited, and there is no metastasis or spread of lymphatic system or distal organs yet. Most patients can recover without radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other treatments after the lesion site is removed by radical surgery, or lymph nodes are cleared. Only patients whose pathologic results show a high risk of recurrence or metastasis need a period of radiotherapy or chemotherapy, but generally they are not treated with targeted drugs. Clinically, targeted drugs are mainly for middle and late-stage patients, and not every bowel cancer patient is used, need to carry out genetic examination, only patients who do not have genetic mutation and have targeted drugs will be considered to take targeted drugs.
