There is no evidence to show which of the two, Jinshuibao capsule or Bailing capsule, is better for the treatment of renal insufficiency.
Both Jinshuibao and Bailing capsule are drugs made from artificially cultivated Cordyceps sinensis extracts that have adjuvant therapeutic effects on chronic renal insufficiency, and there is no evidence to show that these two drugs are better for chronic renal insufficiency. In clinical practice, both drugs are commonly used drugs, in addition, due to the similarity of their ingredients, it is not recommended to take both at the same time.
When taking Jinshuibao capsule, individual patients have mild gastrointestinal discomfort reactions, such as nausea. Its contraindication is not clear. When taking Bailing Capsules, individual patients may experience throat discomfort. Its contraindication is not yet clear. Avoid spicy, cold and greasy food during the period of taking the medicine.
For renal insufficiency, simply taking the drug may not be enough, often need to cooperate with other drugs, mainly including antihypertensive and urinary protein-lowering treatment such as irbesartan, valsartan, fosinopril, etc., correcting renal anemia, such as erythropoietin, roxarestat, phosphorus-lowering treatment such as sevelamer, etc..
Patients with renal insufficiency should go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment. Drugs should be used in accordance with medical advice, do not self-medication.
