There are two main purposes for using sesame oil to drip into the ears. The first is that if you don’t have ear drops or eye drops on hand, you can consider using sesame oil to drown the worms in your ear and then go to the hospital to get them out. The second is if there is a large piece of cerumen in the ear canal that cannot be removed, and the doctor in the hospital cannot remove the cerumen from the ear canal at one time, you need to use fragrant oil to drop into the ear to soak the cerumen in the ear canal before removing the cerumen from the ear canal. However, it is generally not recommended to use fragrant oil for ear drops if there are no other ear drops available except for the two factors mentioned above.
