Can you still have a seizure after a rabies shot?

After the rabies vaccination, if the vaccine is given for the whole period of time and other rabies preventive measures are taken, there is basically no need to worry about rabies attacks. The probability of rabies attack after a complete vaccination is very small, generally less than 1/10,000, and according to relevant estimates, the probability is about 1/30,000 in developing countries and about 1/50,000 in developed countries. Most of the cases of rabies attack after taking rabies vaccine are because the vaccination is not standardized or other measures are not done properly. The vaccine should be administered as a complete five-shot series, or as a four-shot series in the case of a four-shot vaccine. Other measures include proper wound cleansing and disinfection, as well as rabies serum and immunoglobulin injections when necessary. If the rabies vaccine is given without rabies serum or immunoglobulin, the rabies attack is not due to the fact that the rabies vaccine did not prevent rabies, but to the fact that the other measures were not done properly.
