The uterus is soft and is divided into mucosal, muscular and plasma layers. Under normal circumstances for routine gynecological examination, such as double or triple diagnosis, the uterus cannot be pressed with the hand on the abdomen. However, the cervix can be touched and is soft, smooth and elastic. If the cervix becomes hard, it indicates that there is a problem, and the possibility of cervical cysts, cervical hypertrophy, or even cancer should be considered. Further examination is recommended, which may include colposcopy, cervical cytology and HPV test. If the examination report card are normal, there is no great relationship, you can not deal with it for the time being, and review regularly. If malignancy is suspected, tissue should be taken for biopsy, and early treatment is needed once precancerous lesions are detected.
