Single or double crutches for one foot injury

The use of crutches is recommended after an injury to one foot.
When one foot is injured, it may lead to soft tissue injury, ligament rupture or even fracture, and may need to be immobilized by cast or brace, or even surgery, and one side of the limb needs to be fully rested and not weight-bearing.
After one side of the limb is injured, it is not possible to make force, when going down to the ground, single crutches have to support the ground at the same time with the healthy side of the limb, in order to reduce the weight of the injured limb, it is not good to grasp the balance, and it is difficult to avoid the weight of the injured limb by simply using single crutches, and it will affect the walking activities.
The use of double crutches to walk can be more convenient, so that the injured limb can better reduce the weight, to maintain body balance, while avoiding falls and other accidents.
When the foot is injured, the patient should immediately go to the hospital, after a clear diagnosis for standardized treatment, and strictly follow the doctor’s instructions for medication, under the guidance of the doctor to use medical rehabilitation aids.
