How to exercise the knee joint

The knee joint can be exercised in the following ways: First, knee joint range of motion exercise: Patients perform daily knee flexion and extension activities to enhance the joint movement angle and avoid joint stiffness, especially for patients after knee surgery. Second, muscle strength and intensity exercises around the knee joint: mainly including quadriceps, biceps, tibialis anterior, and triceps. Through resistance training, the strength and intensity of the above muscle groups are enhanced, which can improve the stability of the knee joint and protect the function of the knee joint and the structure of the knee joint, such as meniscus, cruciate ligament, and articular cartilage. Adherence to exercise can keep the knee joint functioning well, avoid trauma and serious joint wear and tear of the knee joint, and enable patients to work, live and exercise normally.
