How to take Wu Ling San for weight loss

Wu Ling San is not used for weight loss. Its effect is to promote dampness and water circulation, and can be used for edema and abdominal distension caused by water-dampness internal retention (water-dampness stays in the body) and yang not transforming qi (the body’s qi is blocked). Wu Ling San is a proprietary Chinese medicine composed of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Poria, Cinnamomum Cassia and Zedoaria, whose effects are warming Yang and transforming Qi (warming Yang Qi in the body), inducing dampness and promoting the flow of water. Clinically, it is used for treating water retention syndrome (a type of syndrome manifesting as dysuria, bloating of the abdomen, thirst for water and vomiting after drinking, etc.) with dysuria (unsmooth urination), headache and slight heat, thirst for drinking, or even vomiting when water is in the mouth; or palpitations under the umbilicus, vomiting of saliva and dizziness; or shortness of breath and coughing; or oedema and diarrhea. The tongue is white, and the pulse is floating or floating number. Weight loss requires dietary control, such as eating less high-calorie food, such as sugary and deep-fried food; to increase exercise appropriately to burn calories to control body weight. The adverse reactions and contraindications of Wu Ling San are not clear; avoid eating cold, greasy and indigestible food when using it. Wu Ling San should be used correctly under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner’s diagnosis, and should not be abused to avoid adverse effects.
