Bile duct cancer symptoms early symptoms

1, jaundice: the most common symptom, accounting for about 36.5%. Jaundice is the result of bile duct obstruction, mostly progressive deepening, its degree is related to the site and degree of obstruction. Jaundice is deeper in the case of extrahepatic bile duct obstruction, and shallower in the case of intrahepatic bile duct branch obstruction. Jaundice is deeper in complete bile duct obstruction and lighter in incomplete bile duct obstruction. Occasionally, inflammation and spasm of the bile ducts, as well as tumor detachment and deviation of the papillary type of tumor, may cause fluctuations in jaundice. Lower and middle bile duct cancer often presents as painless cholestatic jaundice. The patient’s urine is dark yellow or tea-colored, and the stool becomes lighter or clay-colored. 2. Abdominal pain: It may be mild discomfort in the upper abdomen after eating, or vague discomfort under the raphe, or back pain, or right upper abdominal cramps, which are manifestations of nerve invasion. It can appear before or after jaundice. 3, fever: mostly due to inflammation in the obstructed bile ducts, the incidence is low. 4.Other: There may be concomitant symptoms such as loss of appetite, aversion to oil, fatigue, weight loss, generalized skin itching, nausea and vomiting, or non-specific symptoms of cancer. Few of them may have symptoms of portal hypertension, which is caused by cancer infiltrating portal vein.
