Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae: It has the efficacy of tranquilizing the fetus, stopping sweating, strengthening the spleen, benefiting the qi, drying dampness and inducing diuresis (drying dampness and reducing water-dampness in the body), and it is mainly used for treating fetal restlessness, weakness of spleen and qi (weak spleen qi), phlegm and drink (pathological products formed by the obstruction of metabolism of water and liquids), accumulation of stagnation in the spleen, and sweating because the surface of the body is not solidified. Atractylodes macrocephala is taken internally in a decoction of soup, and the product can also be boiled in a paste or used in pills or powder.
Atractylodes macrocephala is warm and dry, and should be used with caution in cases of yin deficiency with heat and dry heat that injures the body fluid, and the adverse effects are not clear for the time being.
2. Chicken Neijin: It has the effects of astringent and stopping spermatorrhea (consolidating semen, preventing and controlling spermatorrhea), eliminating food and strengthening the stomach (promoting food digestion, strengthening the function of the stomach and internal organs), and clearing the lymphatic fluid and dissolving stones. It can be used for treating kidney deficiency, spermatorrhea, dietary stagnation, lithiasis (discharge of gravel during urination, or sudden interruption of urination, pain in the urethra, and intolerable pain in the waist and abdomen), and enuresis, etc. It can be powdered and taken internally or decocted. Adverse reactions and contraindications of Chicken Nei Jin are not clear. Note that it should be used with caution in those with spleen deficiency without accumulation and stagnation.
