Liver metastasis from lung cancer, what is the cause of the faster rate of

Liver metastasis of lung cancer is faster mainly because of the proximity and the fact that liver is the center of blood circulation.
Lung cancer metastasis mainly occurs through three major ways: infiltration, lymph and blood, and the liver itself is relatively close to the lungs, which may lead to the metastasis of cancer cells; secondly, the liver is an important organ for blood production and circulation of the whole body, so when the cancer cells enter into the bloodstream and are fed into the liver, they start to customize and multiply, which will finally lead to metastasis.
Patients with liver metastasis of lung cancer need to take targeted treatment according to the number of metastasis and the size of the tumor. If the metastasis is in a single site and the tumor is small, surgical resection is preferred; if the metastasis is in multiple sites or the size is large, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy are recommended.
