Nasal congestion caused by enlarged nasal turbinates in children is mostly caused by chronic simple rhinitis, allergic rhinitis and other diseases, which need to choose general treatment, medication, immunotherapy and other measures to control the disease and improve the symptoms according to the causes and characteristics of the disease.

2. Allergic rhinitis: common nasal mucosa pallor, edema, nasal watery secretion. Treatment should follow the principle of environmental control, drug therapy, immunotherapy and health education. Pharmacological treatment includes nasal glucocorticoids, nasal or systemic antihistamines and anti-leukotriene drugs as the first-line drugs. Specific allergen immunotherapy may also be considered.
