Can I take cefuroxime capsules if my oral mucosa is peeling?

Cefuroxime is a second generation cephalosporin antibiotic indicated for upper respiratory tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections and other infections caused by sensitive bacteria. If clinical evidence of bacterial infection does exist, the appropriate antibiotic may be selected. However, the etiology of oral mucosal detachment is varied, not all oral mucosal detachment is caused by bacterial infection and there are different dosing regimens for infections caused by different pathogens, therefore a specialist physician or pharmacist should be consulted for specific dosing regimens.
