Does oral sex cause loss of oral mucosa?

Oral sex may lead to infection with certain sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhoeal stomatitis which is mainly seen in patients with a history of oral sex and can manifest as congestion, redness, erosion and ulceration of the oral mucosa.
